If you missed Adam Lambert and his American Idol cast mates on Larry King Live Friday night, don’t despair. Adam, Kris Allen, Ryan Seacrest, and other Season 8 finalists will return to the show on the night of Monday, May 25th, at 9PM EST, 12AM EST and 3AM EST for a second American Idol Special!
There is now an appearances link on the upper right menu, and also a live feed on the lower right menu listing scheduled television appearances. Look for them!
I like your site. It’s easy to navigate and has good content. Love all the pictures, they are lovely. I don’t think they are controversial, they’re all over the internet anyway. Thanks for the hard work and keep it up!!!!
I like your site, but I do not think you should show 100% of those controversial pictures. If your intent is to help Adam to grow his career, you should take a nurturing / protective approach. If you have a hidden agenda, that’s a different story. A few (not more than 5) of those controversial pictures are sufficient. The fans got your point. You do not want to scare away Adam’s potential young fans, do you?
It’s uneven ground. Adam says he’s proud of who he is and what he represents and wants to be who he wants to be and build a career around that which is true to himself. This means embracing all that he is. These pictures are one side of Adam. The galleria shows another side (more pics to come). I love all the pictures. If I hide the pictures that’s hiding a part of him. He knows the pictures are out there and I’ve listened to hear him say he would prefer them not be but instead he shrugs and says “I am who I am and I’m not shy about anything.” If I take them down I don’t see how that would be helping him be open and truthful to himself or others about his true self. In order for him to be happy in his *new life* as a *superstar* he might as well embrace the fact that paparazzi will be all over his every move. Now, I’m not the paparazzi and they’ll have everything out there before I do but at least when I do my part I can put a positive and supportive spin on it. If he hides this side of him now then how will he continue to live as open and carefree as he has in the past? I wouldn’t want him to now have to start hiding things and subsequently stop enjoying himself as he always has. To put what’s out there already out there in a positive way – which I feel I did on this site – should only lead to free thinking and support. Anyone who still doesn’t accept Adam as he is probably won’t, anyway. The fact that he made it all the way to the final two on Idol shows that enough people are more interested in his musical ability than his sexual preferences. I don’t think these pictures, which people have already seen a long time ago, will lose him any fans now. I do think they will allow him to feel people want him because he’s interesting, and talented, and kind and we don’t want him to change or hide but to continue to live freely and push himself to whatever limits, in whatever avenues, he feels are best for him. He should feel accepted. I had added two polls to this gallery of pictures to get a vibe on how people feel and from the results it seems most enjoy Adam’s quirky side. It’s endearing to have someone so talented and so confidently in-tune with himself get out there in the public and be appreciative, giving, and entertaining. The music industry is full of alternative lifestyles. I don’t think Adam or these pictures will scare anyone who can look past the frivolous and reach the core. Most younger fans are very open-minded so I don’t worry about scaring them. The older one’s should have learned by now not to be judgmental. If Adam wants the pictures down I will gladly remove them.
I am interested in learning what others feel about the issue presented here. Please offer your thoughts and opinions, as well.

Oh …. I knew there was something about your response that I was forgetting to reply to ….. you suggested that no more than five *controversial* pictures are necessary because that’s all that is needed for the fans to “get my point.” I understand what you’re saying but did want to make clear that I did not post these pictures to send any messages or make any points. I posted them as a celebration of another side of Adam. I love the pictures. I enjoy them and am happy Adam is confident enough to be himself and not worry about someone photographing him and splashing the photo’s around. Not everyone has to enjoy looking at them as I do. But everyone who is a fan should respect that side of him. I think they’re great and hope others do, too.
Dear Editor: Thanks for explaining your intent esp with such long message. Feel better now. Do you know the origin of Glambert? Does that G stand for Go (Adam), or Glamorous (Adam), or Guyliner?

Honestly, I don’t know if there is a specific origin for the “G” in Glambert but my thought has always been that since Glam is a form of rock (Glam Rock = Hair Bands of the 80’s …. think Poison, Hanoi Rocks, etc.), and Adam likes to dress up in a glam rock sort of way, and with Adam having described his style of music as “techno / pop / glam / rock” ….. with his name being Lambert someone just threw a “G” in front and Bam – Glambert was born!

As a poet, I believe in being fully honest to be true to one’s art. Still, as a parent-type, I feel very protective of talented young folks. To quote a Sweeney Todd song, “Demons are prowling everywhere, nowadays…”
I still have the protective side for Adam. Sometimes I find myself conflicted about the posting of the pictures issue. I try to think that since the tabloids and media will be tearing him apart for years to come I might as well embrace the lovliness of all of Adam as well – but in a positive way. Adam said in an interview that when he first saw the Bill O’Reilly Factor when O’Reilly addressed the *gay* issue and censored the picture of Adam kissing the guy that at first he was like “eeek, hhmmm” but he was then okay with it because the two women reporters on set with O’Reilly were okay with it. Adam said then it was fine with him. What wasn’t fine with him was that O’Reilly censored the pictures by showing them onscreen only *noses up*. Adam said, “He censored it. It was censored. I was like ‘Is that indecent?’ ….. I wasn’t embarassed. I guess he was.” In another interivew about the pictures he’s shrugged and said he’s not shy about anything. Adam’s never hidden his preferences or personality. He’s just not *admitted* it to anyone. Why should he? It’s none of anyone’s business, right? But people continue to harp and pry for a direct answer. I’m not sure why. The answer is pretty clear without him having to say it. There are quite a video’s with Adam inferring his preference (such as the one where he discussed kissing the woman in “Wicked” and saying it was nice, but not necessarily his preference) and his brothers confirming post.
I take a protective stance because I don’t think it’s anyones business and he shouldnt be pressured to explain himself. I don’t think everyone needs to see his business, either. All of these pictures were up online months before I posted them.
But, he knows how Hollywood works. People wanna know things! Especially all the females who now want to know if they have a shot of landing the singer (lmao). But they wanna know — whatever — seems clear to me.
I post the pictures and news stories about the issue because I hope that with all the negative press I can at least present it in a positive way. I’m sure Adam isn’t ever going to be swayed by anyone’s opinions but being human its nice for him to have support. I hope he gets that from here.
I’m still contemplating the picture presentations and how I want to continue addressing *the (non) issue* including maybe not addressing it at all soon. Adam’s also said he thinks is good to keep people guessing about the issue — I’ll soon decide what way I’m headed with this …
Just wonder if you have asked Adam directly about what type of pictures he’d like on this site, since it is about him? I have a feeling he wouldn’t have an opinion one way or another. But it’s not good to speak on his behalf. It’s not like he handed these pictures out and told the media to do with them what they will.
Funny, you know, when we think about how far this society has come, electing a black president, human rights laws, etc., you’d think the topic of “who sleeps with who” wouldn’t matter. Even if you’re the president of the United States, the bedroom translates into the boardroom. Does a married person (like Kris Allen, for instance) get scrutinized about his/her relationship (unless of course he or she is venturing outside the box)? Does anyone ask Kris, or anyone on Idol, when they lost their virginity? (He’s been with his now-wife for several years). I am in the media and I know the media are always out for that story – and it’s the outstanding and most talented ones like Adam who are often the targets. There’s that “let’s find the weakness or vulnerability” in that person. “Let’s knock them off their pedestal!” But what I love about Adam is he hasn’t let anyone do that. He just tells everyone to calm down. He is playing the same game they are – making them guess. How stupid is the public and the media? Adam, and no one, for that matter, has to justify how he or she lives. That said, Adam is true to himself and really, based on how he has done so far in this dog-eat-dog entertainment world, the majority of people know real talent and appreciate his gift for what it is. As well, they realize he is a good person – a sweet, sincere and mega-talented person who has worked hard for where he is.

No, I haven’t had the opportunity to ask Adam how he feels about the pictures of him on this blog but I’d love to have the opportunity to ask him one day! For now, I just hope that people he knows have been here to visit and that they approve, and perhaps let him know that there is a positive site out there celebrating all that he is….and that I’m always looking for feedback from his family, friends, and Adam himself!

When is the Rolling Stone issue featuring Adam (purported to answer all of our questions) coming out? Maybe that will settle the (non) issue. Meanwhile, I think Adam would prefer to focus on his music and AI may be silencing him as well. Apparently even his mom had to sign a contract to keep quiet. Its a “mad world” indeed!
I believe the Rolling Stone issue is just speculation on the part of the People…..however, it is possible. If it happens I will post it. In the meantime, you may find this an interesting read on the topic.
Issue 1079, May 28 of Rolling Stone has a good article about Adam. The cover depicts Green Day. Is there supposed to be another, more extensive story?

Currently, I’m not only interested in “everything” you can put on the site about Adam, but I loved being able to get the most up-to-date reviews of the concerts and hope you continue to give those to us.
As for the picture debate, ultimately you need to include or not include what resonates with your authentic self and with how this creation of a site for Adam allows you to be yourself. I think Adam has been a great example for all of us about being true to ourselves in the face of some criticism from others. If we start trying to switch around to please others, it only gets confusing. And, that doesn’t preclude changing our minds. My personal preference would be to have one or no pictures of Adam’s very private life–others will cover it. But, whatever you do is fine–this is your creation and your stand on Adam. And, you very clearly embrace all of Adam in your introductory article–which I LOVED and related to almost 100%. Maybe 100%

I’ve thought about the pictures from time-to-time. I really think that Adam was never ashamed to go out in public like that before so why change now? It’s just more people see him now than before. In order for him to be able to live freely and always stay true to himself he need not worry what some people might think. With the pictures out there and most people accepting he is free to dress in any of those looks today just as he did then and not worry about *losing fans.* The more people display an accepting viewpoint the more people get used to it the more people become accepting of it. I love the pictures.

I actually read this earlier today on another site talking about the gossip.
The source of this information is The National Enquirer — a known gossip rag. It’s full of lies that sell.
If you recall a while back this same nonsense was being said about Adam by people who worked with him, like hair stylists. This time its the other Idols supposedly saying this. BOTH times the source was The National Enquirer.
Adam has never seemed like the bragging type. There’s no need for him to be, either. He has his success. Bragging won’t give him anything more and it doesnt seem in his character to do so. I’m sure he’s proud of himself and well he should be but he’s never been anything but nice, positive, and helpful to the other Idols. I’ve heard them say good things about him, too. I’m sure they all get sick of each other from time to time and perhaps someone may say something thats overheard by someone else, taken out of context, and splashed around the net BUT as far as I know they are all cordial to each other.
Don’t believe the story. The person they portray is NOT *our* Adam.
Don’t get me wrong…I didn’t believe a word of that…to quote SIMON…”INDULGENT RUBBISH”…but it said an “inside” source and if there is someone spreading these LIES about ADAM, they should be held accountable. Don’t these gossip rags always say the info comes from “an inside source?” Everyone who’s an Adam fan has already discredited the story. Unfortunately, once someone becomes as famous as Adam is becoming there’s always going to be people who want to take them down a few notches for no good reason. It’s just something Adam has to make peace with – and probably already has – and will let pass unless what is said is particularly character flawing – in other words – slander. The strength of Adam’s true supporters – such as all of us – is what will get him thru without too much denting. Yaaay us! and yaaaaay Adam!

I’m not sure if you are aware of this but Kris Allen had to cancel a guest appearance on TV because of the death of his grandmother. I found the article while I was googling ADAM as I do every day. My sympathies to Kris and his family.
Adam has bewitched us! Like so many other old ladies, I can’t wait to see him live.
My question is: who protects him? I’m concerned about the loose cannons out there who might harm him.
He does have a publicist, and probably a bodyguard. He used to have a bodyguard, then he didnt, but he probably does again while on tour. After getting trapped in that stairwell/parking garage he kinda realized he needs some help! But Im not sure if he has someone …….
Thank you for this informative site. It contains much about Adam that I have not seen elsewhere. I love the artistic photos of Adam and the timely posting of videos and blogs. It is, however, sometimes difficult to read because the print is small, not bold and jammed tight. Often there are no titles or subtitles so I cannot find my way back to writings and photos I want to return to. Also, I have thoughts about the “controversal” photos. As I scanned through them, many seemed to be part of his theatre history. Most of them do not strike me as “controversial” except that you have presented them in that light. They can just as well be part of Zodiac or the Folies or whatever else the stage event might be. Why not just name the event or club and include these among his early theatre training. I would, however, remove some of those sexual tag lines because they are coarse/hard core rather than artistic. And I don’t think that the two photos of him kissing should be part of this artistic portfolio as they are his intimate personal life…when he was younger and more abandoned. I notice now he is not so quick to flaunt his intimate kiss-kiss life so we should probably support his quest for a little more personal privacy. Thank you again for all that you are doing. I feel great Love for Adam. He seems to have a big heart. And the healing gift is in his voice. No matter which kind of music he sings (rock, ballads, Spiritual, etc.) it makes people feel whole and happy. Yes, we should support him/us.

I had changed the blog layout to a white background and easier to find post headings and people didnt like it. They preferred this layout because its different from other blogs. So I changed back to this one. The post headings are there at all times … but after they move from Top Spot the headings font gets a little smaller. Its the same lighter color, but still can be harder to find. If you’re using Internet Explorer there is a magnification button on the bottom right hand corner of the task bar. That might help. I have no plans right now to change the layout again … but its always a consideration.
The photos are labeled ‘beautiful but controversial?’ with a question mark — because I find them beautiful, but some people find them controversial. I presented them in that light because thats the word on the street for those particular photos and as a blogger it makes it easier for people to find what they are looking for. If thats what they want to see, then that is an easy to find link. Inside the first page, however, I explain my views about the supposed *controversy.* The sexy taglines are part of my personality so I gotta leave them in. The pics are hot. Adam doesnt mind being seen as sexy — he likes it. And he is. And the pictures are. nuff’ said. lol

I am glad I found this site. It is very intimate and I feel I have met new friends with common interest. I felt no longer alone and “silly” with my “matured” obsession with Adam. I find that there are different kinds of sites out there for Adam. Most are run by teenagers, or take on that vibe. Another – M.J.’s – is a great, very informative site with lots of people commenting each other. I love all the information, but for some reason find it’s set up a little too reserved and overwhelming with alllll the hundreds of comments per post (not that I dont want that much conversation on my site, too …. I do). I was just talking with ALYESKA about the dynamics of commenters — how they comment some sites more than others. I dont understand the dynamics of it …. but whatever …. lol.
I think this site comes off as somewhat more mature than the teen sites, but my natural immaturity (my daughters laughing right now!) sure shines thru enough to make people comfortable – I guess. lolol
Anyway, Im glad you are comfortable here expressing a *silly* obsession ……. cuz I think acts of silliness are what keep us all young, vibrant, and fun to be around! …and here we’re ALLLL *sillily* obsessed with Adam! ha ha ha

FYI my ADAMfriends, I just saw the AI guys on ET( Entertainment tonight) and they are at Graceland, and there was a quick interview with our ADAM dearest and he is commenting on how flattered he is being compared to Elvis (look-alike). So, for all of you from west coast, watch the later part of ET. ( I am from east cost). He is soooo handsome. He looks good whatever style or fashion ( he was wearing a head cap, whatever you call it) he looks so cute!!)
