I am disappointed to tell the truth – I would like to really know the dirt on this – I find it strange that Adam needs time to focus on his career and knew he was in a relationship before his fame, he knew the fame was coming and should have put it on hold back then, but suddenly, seems like Drake is not good enough now for him. He knew what he was getting into when he went to American Idol, I think the career thing is a lame excuse, it’s like when a man wants to get away from his girlfriend or is cheating or seeing someone else, he suddenly wants some space. So what now for example, Kris Allen was a newly wed when he got into American Idol, and he too has fame, so is he going to tell his wife Katy, I need to focus on my career and put the marriage on hold, separate or something……so why couldn’t Adam stick it out ……….I think he has someone else on the downlow……..little hollywood whore IMHO. I think I am allowed to agree and disagree with someone I am a huge fan of……..and that I am a huge Adam Lambert fan still and always will be due not agree with everything he does.
Certainly everyone is entitled to their own personal opinions.
Personally, I do think work takes up most of Adam’s time. He’s never going to be home. Same with Kris Allen. I think an unstable lifestyle and an abundance of opportunity are the reasons why Hollywood couples split up most of the time.
It would be unfair to assume, though, that Adam and Drake were the *perfect couple.* We don’t know that. We only know they were together. People break up all the time because they are ultimately incompatible on a committed relationship level. Perhaps they were wonderful together, and perhaps it would have worked out if Adam’s career hadn’t taken off. Perhaps they will get back together at a later time. Maybe they mutually decided that the timing was off and it wasn’t fair to Drake to be viewed Adam’s tagalong, and Drake wanted to also have the opportunity to focus on his own career. Maybe they felt the are both too young to commit exclusively at this point in time.
We don’t know. We weren’t in the room.

No dont know what you mean but aren’t we both speculating alike – Adam slept around Hollywood, he is the one that said it, he was looking for love so what’s this about “too young to commit” at 27 years old? Perhaps Drake is too young but Adam certainly is not. Let’s not go back and forth wit this you have your opinion and I have mine we are both entitled to our own opinions.
I’m pretty certain I said we all have our own opinions – didn’t I? I know I did! I stated mine. I’ll state it again – 27 is still young. He’s newly famous. I think he should play!
Long distance relationships are fundamentally difficult. Gay guy relationships are fundamentally more difficult because guys culturally are less schooled in relationships and communications in general. Adam is being pulled in multiple directions because of career opportunities. Adam is very sensitive about not acting like a diva because he wants to avoid the stereotyping, so he has to be kind to old acquaintances. Plus, Adam is fundamentally very generous, so he will try to be many things to many people and get stretched thin. Adam also is very driven to succeed, so his work ethic will be very demanding of time and energy.
I have confidence that Adam will get it together in the relationship department before too long because he is emotionally open, honest, and in touch with himself. Adam is attracted to people who are confident and together, and Drake and Adam both will be fine, come what may with his relationship to Adam.
Adam also likes to get his party on! Everythings fresh and new right now …. theres always time for committed relationships later on!
