Adam’s been Twittering all day. He’s confirmed the debut single as “For Your Entertainment” and even that there is a song called “Soaked,” written by one of his fave bands Muse! ( …. a partial of this track is posted below as a leak!)

Love Muse! They rock and carve canyons of sound. The urgency in their tone is very modern. We need some dance tunes for relief.

Their style provides an interesting counterpoint to Adam’s. Their style is minimalist, almost monochromatic, stark, a tad nerdy, the way the movie Matrix is. But like Adam also powerful, sophisticated, and otherworldly. Muse is much bigger outside of the U.S., and I am glad to see them catch on finally.
By the way, I’m a fan of Sally Oldfield, who never caught on here but was much bigger elsewhere. We heard her music played in a Montreal restaurant in the late 1980s, asked for the name, and then came home and ordered all her records. She’s very otherworldly and very sexy, too, with a gypsy resonance.
