Yea – that’s right. From what I understand Kris had Adam paint his thumbnail with black nailpolish while Adam removed his black polish from his own thumb ….. kinda a *trade-off* of sorts. What’s behind this madness? The Allen family seems to think that Kris wanted to send fans the message that #1 He’s in support of an Adam/Kris Finale, and #2 There’s no truth to the *hatin’ on each other* rumor about the season roommates. Both explanations make sense in a way. I do find it kinda….touching…..and weird at the same time. lol. What do you think?

I think it was a beautiful gesture. After Adam lost first place, I’ve really hated American Idol (I know, you can’t blame the show), but now that I’ve read this, it makes me feel better. Somewhat.

Kris is a wonderful example of a true Christian who respects Adam as a fellow human being. This touching nail polish episode shows how much Adam appreciates this special friendship. Adam admitted to being different and that he loves to stand out in a crowd. However, Adam comes across as a very warm and caring person from the way he helped to put Allison in the limelight during their duet. And I noticed too how Allison responded to his kindness when she rushed to his side to hug him after the result was announced. Adam exudes sincerity and he articulates his feelings with ease. He appreciates all the positive attention that is showered on him and his response to bricks thrown at him are gracious. One can’t help but love him not only as a super star artist but as a sincere kindhearted person. I enjoy Adam’s performances more than Kris’ but Kris won a place in my heart for his love towards another fellow human being who the self righteous public threw mud at. That makes him a true Idol and deserves to wear the crown.

I think it’s great that these guys can put there differences in perspective, and find common ground. They are truely great examples of good sportsmanship. I love that they have developed a great friendship, and support one another this way. I think we could all learn something from this. They both have unbelievable talent. I look forward to hearing from both of them long after AI has ended. I wish Kris & Adam all the best! They both deserve respect and success.
